War of the Notes was a fun gfx show package I created for The Swoon's YouTube game promoting the show Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol.

There's a lot of freedom designing for the Swoon, so I anchored the concept to music. Though, as you can see in the process pages, it still invited a lot of potential with design.

The old music posters pictured inspired the final selected route. I loved their bold color choices and how they creatively manipulated negative space with minimal musical elements like music sheets and instruments and paired them with beautiful typefaces. I felt it allowed the animation to be playful and have this smooth fluidity and dynamic energy.
